The Chair Massage Fainting Mystery
In this feature article by Eric Brown, which originally appeared in Massage & Bodywork Magazine, you’ll learn about the unusual fainting phenomenon that occurs with chair massage, and you’ll discover how you can make sure that it never happens to you!
Videos
I recently finished updating and shooting all new video footage for an upcoming online course, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get them edited before the conference. But I think you’ll find these older videos very informative.
Ecourse and teaching kit
Would you like to offer massage workshops for additional income? Maybe you want to educate the public about the benefits of touch or move people into your practice. Maybe you know that you would enjoy teaching because teaching is fun! Whatever your goals, it’s easy with the Teach Touch to Your Community online course and teaching package – a complete workshop presentation kit.
Recommended Chair
For me, the Stronglite Ergo Pro II strikes the nicest balance between customer comfort and ease of use. It has one of the highest weight tolerances of any chair, holding 1,200 lbs of static weight or 600 lbs of working weight. I love the independent height adjustment and the ability to remove the leg rests. And then there are little details, like the way the corners of the seat are cut out for greater comfort or even the eyeglasses pouch under the armrest. I don’t benefit financially from promoting Stronglite; I just think it’s a great chair.
