Accessibility Statement for https://massagemastery.online

Sweet Orange Education LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

At Massage Mastery Online, we are committed to providing an inclusive experience for all users, including those with disabilities. We recognize the importance of meeting accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 Level AA and Section 508 to ensure equal access to educational content.

To support our institutional partners and meet evolving legal requirements, we’ve implemented the following plan:

Phase 1: Immediate Accessibility Enhancements (Completed March 2025)

We will install the Ally accessibility plugin (formerly One Click Accessibility) across our site. This tool provides customizable, user-controlled accessibility features such as:

  • Keyboard navigation support (“Skip to Main Content”)
  • Text resizing and line height adjustments
  • Contrast and grayscale options for low vision users
  • Focus outline for keyboard users
  • Readable font and text alignment tools
  • Image hiding, animation pausing, and a reading guide for cognitive and attention needs
  • A sitemap view for structured navigation with screen readers

Note: While this plugin enhances usability and supports WCAG alignment, it is not a substitute for a full compliance review. We are treating it as a starting point in a longer-term accessibility improvement plan.

Phase 2: Accessibility Evaluation & Developer Consultation (Spring 2025)

We will be consulting with an accessibility expert from TeamTangible, a Canadian-based web development team, to:

  • Conduct a manual accessibility audit, including screen reader testing (Completed April 25, 2025)
  • Address deeper issues such as semantic HTML structure, ARIA landmarks, and label associations for form fields
  • Review mobile accessibility performance
  • Prioritize updates based on WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance

Phase 3: Ongoing Improvements and Monitoring (Summer 2025 and beyond)

  • Maintain and update accessibility features as the site evolves
  • Train content creators on digital accessibility best practices
  • Monitor for changes in accessibility law and adapt accordingly
  • Evaluate the need for premium accessibility features, such as screen reader enhancements and analytics tools

Summary for Colleges and Partners

We are taking a proactive, phased approach to accessibility compliance. While full compliance requires ongoing effort and technical upgrades, the Ally plugin ensures that core usability enhancements are available now. Our goal is to provide equal access to all learners and support our college partners in meeting their own legal and ethical obligations.

We may revise this Statement periodically to reflect improvements or changes to our accessibility practices.
