Update: On July 27, 2020 (after these videos were developed) the CDC updated recommendations on eye protection. In areas with moderate to substantial community transmission, the CDC recommends the use of goggles or faceshields to prevent infection from SARS-CoV-2 through the eyes. For areas with minimal to no community transmission, eye protection is considered optional.

Video 1: Get everyone on the same page about the basics of COVID-19. What is it? How does it spread? How do we stop it from spreading?
Video 2: We’ll discuss using personal protective equipment, proper hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette, and disinfecting surfaces properly in a massage practice.
Video 3: We’ll prepare the facility for the return of clients and discuss new policies and procedures that keep people safe.
Video 4: We’ll work through new client protocols step-by-step during a massage shift, to reduce the potential for disease spread in a massage clinic.
Step 2: Do a Final exam for your certificate of completion (2 CE)
This course is approved by NCBTMB for 2 CE hours.To obtain your credits, watch all four videos above and then proceed to the final exam at erikdalton.com. You’ll need to register, so that we can maintain your record for state boards, but there is no cost and no credit card is required. On successful completion of the exam, you’ll be provided with a certificate of completion for CE reporting.
